Dr. Bridges has extensive education in animal health that includes a Bachelors degree in Zoology, a Masters degree in Veterinary Toxicology, and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
After graduation in 1981 he immediately began work at Prestonwood Pet Clinic. In 1986 Dr. Bridges became owner of both Prestonwood and Pepper Square clinics.
His professional fields of interest include internal medicine, surgery, working with exotics, and avian medicine. He also volunteers medical and surgical services to several groups that provide rehabilitation and release of wild Raptors and other wild animals and birds.
He currently lives in Plano with his beautiful wife Kathy and their gorgeous daughter Katerina. Their extended family includes two dogs BB and Lucy. In his spare time Dr. Bridges enjoys spending time at his mountain retreat in Montana where he can indulge in fly-fishing, photography, and just spending time with his family.
